This is a great game to play with your dog, it will help with focus, impulse control and teaching your dog to make great choices !
1. You will need some treats, a cup or pot and your dog
2. Place the treats on the floor under the cup/pot
3. Allow your dog to sniff, paw and generally try to get at the treats
4. As soon as your dog's nose moves away from the pot start to lift it up to reveal the treats underneath
5. If your dog lunges forward to grab the treats simply cover them with the cup/pot
5 Repeat this until you are able to uncover the treats and your dog stays back
6. Immediately reward from your hand when your dog doesn't lunge
7. Gradually lengthen the time your dog has to wait to get his reward
